Each piece is an archetype, it represents

a force, an ancestral instinct

In ancient bestiaries animals are symbols of different emotional state we carry within us:

The serpent is rebirth and transformation, 
The wolf is instinct.

The raven is a symbol of treasured memories.

Sculpted in raw, tactile forms, pieces feels unearthed, always existed and simply resurfaced. As much as our emotional states.
