Online Live Class Sand Casting - Level I

Description

During this 1:1 three hours and half class you will learn all the basic principles of the sand casting technique and everything you need to start successfully your own practice. The class will cover topics such as: - Tools needed and preparation - Materials/objects for casting (different wax kind) - Lost wax vs sand casting, pros&cons of the technique - How to make the perfect mould (different demos) - Add textures - How to melt and pour the metal properly (torches vs furnace) - Basics of polishing The class can be attended by anyone interested in learning the technique, no previous experience is required. A PDF list of tools will be provided at the end of the class via email. Lessons can be held in English or in Italian. Lessons are on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, from 2pm to 5:30pm.
