Make a gemstone ring
Description
During this 1:1 full day session you will first chose your favourite stone and then, with my assistance, you will learn how to cut it and polish it to transform it in a beautiful cabochon that we will use for your ring. In the second part of the course we will make together a simple texture band using the sand casting technique: You will carve your ring in wax and we will cast in in recycled sterling silver. Finally, we will add your stone by setting it in the ring. By choosing and shaping your favourite stone and making the silver ring you'll create the most unique piece of jewellery, entirely made by yourself. The workshop can be attended by anyone, no previous experience is required. All the materials, gemstones and the silver are included in the price and will be provided. You can bring your own gemstones if you wish.

Please note that by booking this workshop you are declaring you are an adult as legally intended in the state of Belgium. Instructions regarding health and safety practices will be given by the tutor during the class. Humble Forge Jewellery will not be held liable for any accident occurring as a result of failure to listen to the given instructions. Once a session is booked it cannot be refunded. However, if you cannot attend the class for any reason please contact us to reschedule your session. If the tutor is unable to take the workshop for any reason the session will be rescheduled giving the students as much notice as possible. Where the session cannot be rescheduled the workshop will be cancelled with students given a full refund.
